The Andrell Group LLC ABOUT US John A. Nelson President John A. Nelson, an attorney and MBA graduate in Finance from The Wharton School, is the founder and President of The Andrell Group. In addition to being an owner of nearly one and a half million square feet of retail and industrial properties located throughout the East Coast, John’s multidisciplined background gives him the ability to evaluate existing or potential commercial leases with a depth and clarity that often creates precedent- setting interpretations of important lease clauses. This unique perspective on commercial real estate leases gives Andrell’s clientele a significant competitive advantage. John began his career in the real estate group at the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison. His highly developed expertise in all facets of real estate provides Andrell and its clientele with an important edge in creative deal structuring and real estate negotiations. John received his B.A. and B.S. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978, J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1982 as well as an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School that same year. He has also taught accounting at The Wharton School.
